iv. The organiser reserves the right to hold hourly countdowns to allow for
maximum number of people to participate in the colour throwing.
v. Programme content of the day is a collection of colour throwing, off stage
activities in designated zones and a stage program.
vi. The colour powder will be available and can be purchased and played with only
in the colour throwing area. We explicitly ask to only use the powder sold at the
event due to safety standards and non-toxicity of the colour the organiser
provides. Any other colour powder will not be permitted in the colour throwing
PARTICIPATION AND ENTRY
i. No purchase of ticket or reservation is required for participation.
ii. The organiser is not responsible for any third party purporting to sell entry tickets
for the event.
iii. The admission to Leicester Holi is not restricted to any age, race, colour,
religion, sex, gender identity, caste, creed, sexual orientation, ethnicity, national
origin, or ancestory.
iv. Entering the colour throwing area requires a security check including and not
limited to a bag check conducted by a security company.
v. The organiser reserves the right to deny the admission to the entire site in the
case of important matters. An important matter would be the disruption of the
spirit of the event – deemed inappropriate by the organiser. An important matter
is an obviously high alcoholised condition of a visitor, obviously inhuman,
offensive, racist, homophobe outfits and comments, as well as the entrainment
of drinks and meals (not handed in voluntarily) and dangerous objects
(weapons, pyrotechnic, intoxicants and others). An important matter also is the
entrainment of recorders for sound and picture (for details see 10.) without

vii. In case of a denied admission to the colour playing area, the visitor may
participate in other activities.
viii. The organiser may, at their discretion, remove any visitors from the event and

ix. In case of violation of rules of event admission, the visitor may be requested to
leave the Leicester Holi ‘village area’ of Abbey Park.
CANCELLATION, ABORTION OF EVENT, DELAY, CHANGE OF PROGRAM
i. In case of the cancellation of the event an indemnity claim cannot be made to

DRINKS AND MEALS
i. Drinks and meals on the event grounds are restricted to non-alcoholic,
vegetarian and drug/ stimulant free.
ii. Visitors are permitted to bring their own food and drinks in compliance with the

PHOTOS, RECORDING DEVICES
i. Taking pictures is allowed by mobile phones with camera function and personal
use cameras only and are for private use only.

prior written consent is obtained from the organiser..
iii. Photography of areas with children are restricted unless these are only for your
personal use and the children are known to the visitor.
iv. The organiser reserves the right to question any photography been done in Kids

iv. The organiser is liable for their legal agents and assistants.
v. Electronic and other devices, like cameras and so forth, can be damaged or
destroyed by the colour powder. The organiser advices therefore not to bring
those into the colour throwing area or to protect it adequately.
vi. The organiser is not liable for the damage or destruction of these objects. The
liability remains untouched in the case of willfulness and carelessness.

USAGE RIGHTS, ADVERTISING RIGHTS
i. The event visitor agrees irrevocably by entering the event site that pictures and
image / sound recordings during the event are made, which can be used free of
charge for reports, as well as prospective advertising of the event in the media.
The visitor also agrees that this material is used for sponsor acquisitions.

ii. In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the event is
impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or
other technical problems, the organiser may, in its sole discretion, suspend the
event to address the impairment and then resume the event in a manner that
best conforms to the spirit of these T&Cs. The organiser reserves the right in its
sole discretion to remove and ban any individual it finds to be tampering with the
entry process or the operation of the event or to be acting in violation of these
T&Cs or in an inappropriate or disruptive manner, or who might, in the
reasonable opinion of the organiser, bring the organisers brand into disrepute.
iii. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the event
may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be
made, the organiser reserves the right to seek damages from any such person
to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Failure by the organiser to
enforce any term of these T&Cs shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
To the extent permitted by law, by participating in the event, the visitor agrees to
release and hold harmless the organiser, its parent and related entities, and
their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents and any social media
platforms used in relation to the promotion of the event (the “Released Parties”)
from and indemnify them against any sum, damage, loss, charge, expense,
claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the event or receipt or use
of a gift, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorised human intervention in the
event; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone
or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or
undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the event; or (f) injury or
damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in
whole or in part, from the visitor’s participation in the event or receipt or use of
iv. To the extent permitted by applicable law and with the exception of liability for
gross negligence or wilful misconduct of the Released Parties, the visitor further
agrees that in any cause of action (i) the Released Parties’ liability will be limited
to the cost of participating in the event, and in no event shall the Released
Parties be liable for legal fees and (ii) the visitor waives the right to claim any
damages whatsoever that may arise in connection with these T&Cs or the

material which is obscene, defamatory, infringes the intellectual property or
other legal rights of any third party or is otherwise unlawful, offensive,
discriminatory or inappropriate.
v. The organiser will have the right to remove any material at its discretion and
take appropriate legal action against any person found to be or alleged to be in
breach of this clause.
i. These T&Cs and any disputes arising in connection thereto shall be governed
by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and shall
be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England. If for any
reason, a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision or portion thereof, to
be unenforceable, the remainder of these T&Cs will still be applicable and in full
force and effect.
