LEICESTER'S LARGEST COLOUR-THROWING DHULETI CELEBRATION

2018

A first-of-its-kind event, where over 1,000 of Leicester’s diverse community came together to colour the white snow-covered fields of Abbey Park, this year’s Leicester Holi promises to become

the most colourful event of Leicester’s calendar.

17 ORGANISATIONS

This event is a collaboration of 17 community organisations, each having their own respective engaged membership.

All of these organisations are involved in community-focused endeavours that contribute to making Leicester such an active city.

 
STORY OF
HOLI

Holi, also known as the festival of colours, is celebrated at the time of the

full moon in the month of Phalguna (end of February/March) and marks the

beginning of Spring.

 

Calling All Budding Artists!

Can you a draw a picture to show what Holi means to you? If so, you could

be in with a chance to win an exciting prize.

closer to the event!)
